Crudessence is a 100% gluten free and raw vegan restaurant chain in Montreal (Quebec/Canada). Iโve had the opportunity to eatย there a few times when visiting my family in Quebec andย definitely recommend it toย all gluten free people living there or visiting. The food is tasty, healthy and cross contamination worry free too!
They have a very interesting, varied menu and as a bonus the food is so beautifully presented too. This time I had the ‘pad thai’, but I also got to sample my brother’s tacos and my sister’s pesto lasagna which were both excellent. The lasagna came with the most amazing kale Cesar side salad. So good that everyone at the table found themselves stealing bites out of her salad throughout the whole meal. And it didn’t matter because the portions are enormous! ๐
While my ‘pad thai’ was good, it was less flavourful than the other dishes so it’s probably not something I would order again. It was pretty much just a salad and not that special in my opinion. But everything else, including what I had during previous visits to this place, was brilliant.
We shared a few desserts, including the ones below, but the ‘cheesecake’ won the first prize. By far. So so good! I’m just sad I didn’t order a whole one just for myself. ๐
