Gluten Free Stroud Green Market Guide {North London}

STROUD GREEN MARKET

Location: Finsbury Park (North London)
Address:Β Perth road/ennis road, Finsbury Park, London N4 3HB
Opening times: SUNDAYS ONLY – from 10am to 2:30pm

Relatively new on the scene, you can find this lovely little market in Stroud Green Primary School’s car park – opposite the Faltering Fullback pub – just a short walk away from Finsbury Park tube station. They’re opened every Sunday and it’s well worth popping over if you live locally or find yourself in the area.

It’s not a huge market, but they have a nice selection that even includes some completely gluten free stalls. And not only do they have gluten free options, but they’re home to the best gluten free doughnuts in the world, courtesy of Floris Bakery! ?Β If you’re gluten free and a regular at farmers markets in North London, you may be familiar with this amazing and 100% gluten free stall. They’re mainly known for their spot in Hackney’s Broadway Market, but you’ll be glad to know they’re now in Stroud Green Market as well! Along with a few other great options.

And so here’s a look into all the gluten free things I’ve found in Stroud Green Market so far:

Note: I don’t know if these stalls are there every single Sunday so it’s worth checking their social media in advance if you’re planning a trip specifically for one of them. ?

1. FLORIS BAKERY

I’ve talked endlessly about this fantastic little bakery in previous posts on Instagram, more precisely about their stall in Broadway Market. But they’ve now set up shop even closer to home, taking a little spot in Stroud Green Market as well. Judging by my few visits so far, they seem to sell different things at both markets (with Broadway Market having a much larger selection due to being a lot bigger), but their fabulous doughnuts always make an appearance!

2. KALLY COOKS

100% gluten free + vegan

Another regular at Broadway Market who’s also a part of Stroud Green is Kally Cooks. They make healthy and delicious Indian inspired food that’s completely gluten free and vegan. I only got to try a tester today, but it was clean with fresh ingredients and so full of flavour! I look forward to going back and having a full meal.

3. LUKE’S CIDER

This stall is ran by a guy who sells his own delicious homemade cider. If you love cider, but not the sickly sweet mainstream kind, you’ll love these. We bought one to try and it’s really tasty, refreshing, not too sweet at all and of course naturally gluten free. ?

4. BREVEVITA

I haven’t had a chance to try any of these yet, but this stall has a selection of organic wines from Italy.

5. CHEESE STALL

I’m always a bit wary of cheese stalls mainly because there’s usually also a lot of bread around. Hello CRUMB CITY. But I couldn’t see any bread at the time so it’s worth checking with them.
